Having graduated with a Bachelor of Midwifery from the University of Technology Sydney, Emma has been registered midwife since 2012. She has worked across all areas of pregnancy, birth and postnatal care and continues to work in the hospital setting, ensuring her skills are current.
Emma has a special interest in postnatal care, antenatal education and breastfeeding. In 2016 she undertook advanced study in breastfeeding and became a certified Lactation Consultant. Emma has also completed training in providing birth and parenting classes.
She is passionate about supporting women and their partners through the early days of adjusting to parenthood. She also believes strongly in a wholistic approach to care, empowering women to make informed choices through their pregnancy and postnatal journeys.
Emma is married and has three lovely teenagers. Her own experiences with pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding and parenting have been a driving force in her desire to support other women and families through this precious, yet challenging time in their lives.
